DIY Holiday Gift Bag
By Linsey Rickett
Amazing gift giving isn’t just about what’s inside. Dress up a plain gift bag this holiday season and make it extra special by adding the delightful scent of Christmas tree to it. Wow the recipient when they discover the plastic sprig and pinecone embellishment actually smells like the real thing!

Step 1. Cut approximately 12″ of gold glitter tulle and use use tape runner along the each side folding over the edges to create a softer look.
Step 2. Next, run tape along the bottom of the tulle and bunch up to create a cinched look.
Step 3. Finally, adhere the cinched tulle to the inside front of the gift bag using AdTech Precision Pro Glue Gun and Christmas Tree Scented Glue Stick.
Step 4. Adhere the large red glitter bow to the front of the gift bag with glue gun and glue the plastic pine sprig and pinecone embellishment to the inside top of the bag with Christmas Tree Scented Glue Stick.
Step 5. Lastly, add a gift tag and tie with twine. I created my gift tag with MCT XL fancy label die, XL label borders stamp set and SU! “Winter Wonderland” 6×6″ vellum stack stamped with Ranger Archival Ink in Jet Black.
